About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship with the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. I am also a fellow with the Alabama Entrepreneurship Institute (AEI), as well as the Institute for an Entrepreneurial Society (IES) at Syracuse University.

My research focuses on identifying entrepreneurial solutions to complex social issues like wildfire management. I build on the literatures on community organizing and public-private collaborations. Specifically, I show how public value is best created by multiple actors working simultaneously and interacting at multiple levels (i.e. local, regional, and global).

When not writing, I also enjoy spending my time skiing, traveling, working on or operating anything with a motor, and adventuring outdoors.
